This is a small tutorial on how to fix the 'Apple Mobile Device Service' not started error when you connect your Apple Device like Apple iPhone or iPod to your PC and open up the iTunes application. I encountered it when i was trying to connect my iPhone 3G and found that the fix was very simple.

- Go to Start
- Go to Run
- Type 'msconfig' on run and open msconfig
- go to services tab and look for 'Apple
- Now Apply settings and restart and try connecting the Apple device again, this should work.
