The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is Samsung's latest entry into the tab segment in India. The new tab features a 1GHz Dual core processor which runs Android 4.0, i.e Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The tab is priced at around 19k and is a steal at that price. The tab only arrives in 16GB versions now, there are rumors that an 8GB version is soon on its way at a cheaper price.

Display:

The Samsung Tab 2 has a TFT LCD touch screen with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. The screen is 7 inches and has around 16M colors. 

Storage:

The tab comes with an inbuilt memory of 16GB and with an expandable memory slot which can be expanded up to 32GB of memory.

Processing Power:

This Samsung Tab has a Dual core processor with 1GHz, which means it will be faster and can processes more apps at the same time. It also packs 1GB of RAM.

Battery:

With a 4000mAh Lithium-Ion battery the tab can hold a fair amount of energy. But the tab being Android, uses it up fairly fast, but definitely better than most competitors.

Camera:

The tab has a 3MP primary camera and 0.3MP front camera to it's credit and has the capability to record 720P HD recordings.

Size:

The Tab weighs 345gm which is great according to usual standards of tabs and is only 10.5mm thick.

The Sony Xperia U.
The Sony Xperia U is Sony's second handset to be released to the market after the Sony Xperia S on May 10th 2012. The Sony Xperia U is a budget phone as it's price falls below 18k where it has competition from two Sony Ericsson phones, The Xperia Ray and the Xperia Neo V and also Motorola's Defy+. The Xperia S runs on Android Gingerbread 2.3.6 and an ICS update will soon be available.

Display:

The Sony Xperia U has a TFT LCD touch screen with a resolution of 854x480 pixels and has the Sony Mobile bravia engine. The screen is around 3.5 inches and has around 279 PPI(Pixel Density) which means it has eye popping clarity. 

Storage:

The Sony Xperia U has an internal storage of around 4GB, but there are also rumors that it has 8GB of it. Which is pretty good. But the disadvantage is that it doesn't have an external memory card slot which means you will be forced to use the internal storage which after installation of apps will be very less.

Processing Power:

The Sony Xperia U stands out from it's competitors with a Dual core processor, which means it will be faster and can processes more apps at the same time. It has 1.0 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM.

Battery:

The Sony Xperia U packs only a 1320mAh battery which means it will have lesser talk-time than it's competitors. Some websites on the internet says it has a talk time capacity of only about a five and a half hours. Which is pretty less compared to other phones in the same range. It has a Lithium Ion battery.

Camera:

The Phone has a 5MP camera and 0.3MP front camera to it's credit. The 5MP cameras of Sony are better than even the 8MP camera's of it's competitors. 720P video recording is possible.

Size:

The phone weighs 110gm which is great according to usual standards and is only 12mm thick.

Anna University Chennai exams rescheduled - Details

The Anna University exams that were scheduled to start this monday(7-5-2012) have now been postponed. Each exam is postponed exactly by a week, i.e by 7 days. Which means that the exams which were to be held from 7th is now postponed to the 14th, 8th on 15th etc.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 in India

Samsung finally has rolled out the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S3 which comes with a lot of improvements from the S2.

The overall size of the screen is 4.8 inches and has an HD Super AMOLED display to it's credit. The camera has found no improvements from the s2 and it still is 8 MP. The S3 has a screen resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The S3 weighs lesser and is less thicker than it's predecessor. The phone will be available in different storage versions from 16,32 and 64GB. It also will have an expandable microSD slot which can be expandable upto about 64GB.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia S India Price buy onlineFinally, Sony and Ericsson have parted ways and the Xperia S is Sony's first mobile after the partition.
